Naimish Nagar – A New Model of Urban Development for Lucknow

The Naimish Nagar Yojna is a strategic urban development initiative spearheaded by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA). Spanning approximately 3,681 acres (with 1,486 hectares already identified across 18 villages in B.K.T. Tehsil), this project is positioned as a future-ready model for city expansion.

With a massive land acquisition budget of ₹4,785 crore already approved by the Authority Board, the project has officially entered its preliminary phase, with the first site office now functional in Purwa village.

Key Highlights of the Project:

• Residential Capacity: Designed to accommodate approximately 3 lakh residents.

• Integrated Infrastructure: The township will feature wide arterial roads, commercial centers, and advanced sewage and solid waste management systems.

• Quality of Life: Dedicated focus on green belts, parks, schools, hospitals, and community centers to ensure a high standard of living.

• Inclusive Development: Beyond the main township, the LDA is committed to upgrading existing village infrastructure, including the construction of link roads, drainage systems, health centers, playgrounds, and community halls (Baraat Ghars).
